Yes. Cuba is widely considered one of the safest countries in the Caribbean.
Violent crime is extremely rare, especially in tourist areas and high-end hotel zones.

Will we be staying in safe areas?
Yes. All accommodations, events, and excursions take place in well-established,
secure locations.

Do I need special travel insurance?
Travel insurance is recommended for all international travel. Please check with your provider for coverage details.

Do I need a visa to enter Cuba?
Most travelers will need a Cuban Tourist Card, which is easy to obtain. We provide simple, step-by-step instructions based on your passport and departure country.

Will you help with securing the visa?
Yes. Detailed guidance will be provided once your registration is complete.

What category should I choose when traveling from the U.S.?
When booking your flight, select “Support for the Cuban people” as your reason for travel.

How long does it take to get the Tourist Card?
In most cases, the Tourist Card is issued at the airport when flying on major U.S. airlines.

How should I book my flights?
Please book flights on major American carriers such as American Airlines, Delta, or United. When booking, select “Support for the Cuban people” as your reason for travel. Your airline will issue the required Tourist Card at the airport.

Which airport should I fly into?
José Martí International Airport (HAV) in Havana, Cuba.

Will someone pick me up at the airport?
Yes. Ground transportation to and from the airport is included and coordinated for all attendees.

Are flights included in the ticket price?
No. Attendees are responsible for booking their own flights.

Is the hotel all-inclusive?
Yes. The hotel offers an all-inclusive experience during the stay.

Is the water safe to drink?
We recommend drinking bottled water, which will be provided throughout the stay. Restaurants and hotels use purified water for cooking. Tap water should not be consumed.

Is the Wi-Fi reliable?
Wi-Fi in Cuba continues to improve. In high-end hotels, it is generally reliable enough for messaging, emails, and light work.

Should I expect full connectivity?
No. This experience is designed to encourage presence and connection. Expect limited bandwidth compared to major cities.

Can I use my credit cards in Cuba?
U.S.-issued credit and debit cards generally do not work. We recommend bringing cash in USD or EUR.

Does the hotel accept payments onsite?
Yes, the hotel accepts cash payments.

How much cash should I bring?
This depends on personal spending habits. Guidance will be provided prior to travel.

Are tips included?
Some services include gratuities. Additional tipping is optional and appreciated.

Do people speak English?
In high-end hotels and tourist areas, English is commonly spoken. Outside those areas, Spanish is more prevalent.
